Mega Strong Fitness started over 5 years ago, when Megan set out on her mission to show people that they could lose weight and get in shape from the comfort of their home, with minimal equipment and cost. After she and Dirk were married, their business rapidly grew and Dirk decided to quit his job to come help Megan run the business. Megan & Dirk pride themselves on continually learning and growing their knowledge in health & fitness and their passion for their client's success.
As parents to 3 young children, they understand that you are limited on time and may be unable to go to a gym or have someone to watch your kids so they have made this the most efficient and cost effective home workout program you can find where a trainer is there to help you every step of the way.
Megan & Dirk Kool are both NASM certified Virtual Training Specialists. Two live workout times are offered daily! Megan's workouts are 50 minute circuit style, strength training classes offered Monday’s through Friday’s from 5:30 am CST to 6:20 am. Dirk offers a 30 minute, strength training class at 6:30 am CST. If you pay for the live workouts, you get the option to do either the 5:30 am or 6:30 am live workouts (or BOTH) daily and also receive the recordings of the live workouts to your email!
Format for Megan's 5:30 am class is as follows...
Monday: Upper Body & Core
Tuesday: Total Body
Wednesday: Lower Body & Cardio
Thursday: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
Friday: Upper Body & Core
A bonus Total Body day is offered almost every Saturday.
Format for Dirk’s 6:30 am class is as follows...
Monday: Lower Body
Tuesday: Back & Biceps
Wednesday: Triceps & Chest
Thursday: Shoulders & Abs
Friday: Total Body
These classes are designed to burn fat and build muscle from the comfort of your home and are for males & females at any age or fitness level. The advanced version of each exercise and then how to modify it for beginners is shown in both DIrk & Megan's classes. You can sign up at any time and the price will be pro-rated based on how many days are left in the month.
The Zoom app can be downloaded on your laptop, tablet or phone and is super easy to navigate! These classes can be displayed on your smart TV by using an HDMI cable or by mirroring from your phone.
Invoices are sent out on the 25th of each month and payment is due before the 4th of the month it is due. If you want to cancel your subscription, Mega Strong MUST be notified by the 25th of the month or you are expected to pay your invoice. NO EXCEPTIONS. If a notice is not sent that you are not continuing or if you do not pay your invoice on time, a $10 late fee will be added onto your invoice.
All you need for equipment is two sets of dumbbells (we recommend a set of 5s & 10s or 8s & 12s for beginners). A set of loop resistance bands like the ones attached below and a sturdy, flat chair to step up on. A small step ladder will also work.
The LIVE VERSION of the classes are $60 per month, which comes out to be less than $1.35 per class and anytime you miss a live class, the recordings of both Dirk and Megan's workouts will also be emailed to you daily. There is also the option to purchase just the EMAIL VERSION of the classes for $40 per month, which ends up being less than $0.90 per class. With the email version you will receive a full 50 minute recording of Megan's 5:30 am class via email by 6:45 am CST every morning AND a recording of Dirk’s class via email by 7:15 am every morning. You have 48 hours to get the workout done before the link will no longer work.
